Death of Mr. Walter Hancock

The death occurred at the Royal United Hospital, Bath, on Sept. 29th, after an illness lasting four years of Mr. Walter Hancock, in his 52nd. Year.

Mr. Hancock, who lived at 8, Rock Cottages, Combe Down, Bath, was a stoker at the Bath Electricity Works for 18 years, prior to which he was working as a quarryman on Combe Down.

He was a member of a well-known Claverton Down family.

He has been married 28 years, and leaves a widow and seven children.

The funeral took place on Wednesday at Monkton Combe.
