Obituary For Pamela Violet Mary Williams

FLOWERS FROM PLAYMATES AT FUNERAL OF LITTLE COMBE DOWN GIRL

Amid many manifestations of neighbourly sympathy, the funeral took place at Monkton Combe Cemetery, on Saturday afternoon, of little Pamela Williams, the seven-years-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred F. Williams, of "Speedwell," Williamstowe, Combe Down, who died on Tuesday last week.

She had been ill for only a few weeks, and her untimely death came as a great shock to friends of the family.

Pamela was very popular among her schoolmates at the Church of England School, and had a charming disposition. She was clever at her studies, and a favourite among the teachers.

Her father, Mr. W. P. Williams, is a member of the Monkton Combe Parish Council, as, at one time, was his father also. Both are employed by Bath Cabinet Makers Ltd.

The service at Monkton Combe Church was conducted by the Rev. F. Last Bedwell, vicar of
Combe Down.

The family mourners were: Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Williams (father and mother), Mrs. J. Drakeford, of Haverfordwest (grandmother); Mr. J. Williams, of Combe Down (grandfather); Miss E. Drakeford, of London (aunt); Mr. Vie Williams, of Combe Down (uncle); Mrs. and Miss Sumsion, of Colerne (aunt and cousin).

The flowers included many touching tributes from playmates and other friends of "dear little
Pam."

The funeral arrangements were carried out by Messrs. G. Mannings and Sons.
