Obituary For Ethel Annie Furze

MISS E. A. FURZE DEAD

LONG ASSOCIATION WITH BATH RESTAURANTS

A prominent personality in the business and religious life of Bath passed away on Saturday in the person Miss Ethel Annie Furze, of 123, Hansford Square, Combe Down.

Until six months ago she was associated with her brother, Mr. B. K. Furze in the control of well-known restaurants in Southgate Street and Railway Street —Miss Furze devoting her Miss Furze. energies to the latter.

Her delightful personality made her a host of friends and she will also be remembered for devoted attention to an invalid sister.

She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Furze, founders of the business with which she was so long associated.

Her father is remembered for his long association with the Salvation Army, and one sister, Major W. D. Furze, is at the S.A. International Training College, London.

The Funeral.

The funeral took place Locksbrook Cemetery on Wednesday morning, following a service at Manvers Hall, conducted by Mr. W. R. Lewis, and attended by a large number of friends. The hymns were "How sweet the name of Jesus sounds,'" and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus."

Brig, and Mrs. Effer, Mrs. Tett and Mrs. Lewis (representing Salvation Army). Mr. and Mrs. Handford (representing Manvers. Hall). Mrs. Fuller, Mrs. Gregory. Miss Bertha Furze and Mrs. M. A. Furze were unable to attend through indisposition.
