COMBE DOWN RESIDENT

Funeral of Mrs R. Daniels at Monkton Combe

The funeral of Mrs. Robert Daniels of 8, The Firs, Combe Down, Bath, who died at the age of 72, took place at Monkton Combe Church on Wednesday afternoon.

A service was held at Monkton Combe Church at which the Rev. E. Roberts iVicar of Combe Down) officiated.

The chief mourners were: Mr. R. Daniels (husband); Miss V. G. Daniels and Mrs. J. Hooton (daughters); Mr. Norman Daniels (son); Mr. James Poole (brother); Miss Mabel Symons, Mrs. Spratt and Miss X Osmond (nieces); Mr. Herbert Daniels (nephew); Messrs. David and Worthy Daniels and Mrs. Gale (brothers and sistc in-law); Miss M. Stockall; Mrs. Preddy; Mrs. Burridge, Mr. Jay; Miss Tavener; Miss L. Pine and Mrs. Pearce.

Floral tributes were as follows: To dearest mum from her loving husband. Bob, Vi, Norah, Norman, Mabs and George, "Till we meet again"; to dear grandma with love, from John, Lawrence and Malcolm; with love and deepest sympathy, from Tim, Noe and Dora, Cyril and Nora, and Dollie; with loving memories from Kate; happy memories from Ray; with deepest sympathy Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Morgan; with deepest sympathy, Mr. Preddy, Olive and Ted; sincere sympathy from her dear Brother Jim and family "Blessed are the dead, which die in the Lord"; with deepest sympathy, Mr. and Mrs. Jay and family; with heartfelt sympathy, Mrs. J. Butcher; In kind remembrance, Mr. and Mrs. Pine and family; in loving memory, Kathleen and Marjorie; in loving memory of dear Annie from Fred, Emily, Joan and John; with deepest sympathy, from nephews and nieces; in loving memory, Mr. Hooton and Miss Robinson; with love and fond memory of dear Mrs. Daniels, from S. The funeral arrangements were carried out by Messrs. G. Mannings and Son, 1 Wood Street, Bath, and Combe Down.
