Funeral of Mrs. A. M. M. Hillier, of Combe Down
The funeral of Mrs. Alice Mary Maud Hillier, of 16, The Firs, Combe Down, Bath, took place on Monday.
The interment at Monkton Combe was preceded by a service at Holy Trinity Church, Combe Down, the officiating clergyman being the Rev. E. Roberts, of Combe Down.
Mrs. Hillier was a school teacher at the Combe Down Church of England Senior School for a number of years, and was most highly respected.
She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Buck, Combe Down.
The family mourners were: Mr. F. Hillier (husband), Mr. S. Gray (brother-in-law). Mr. F. Roberts (cousin). Mrs. S. Gray (sister) was unable to attend; owing to indisposition.
Among those present at the church were: Miss Hardyman, Mr. F. Pine, Mr. Herbert, Mr. and Mrs. C. Morris, Mrs. S- Pearce, Mrs. V. Wilkinson, Miss Dyer, Mrs. Burridge. Mrs. Russell, Mrs. Wherrett (senior). Mrs. Wherrett (junior), Mrs. W. Patch.
